About the night

Four pours, one projector

Brew Bench is our brewers' favorite night of the month. Long benches in the barrel room, a projector showing the game, and guided flight boards of four — each introduced by the person who brewed it, with the story of the grain, the hop, and the happy accident along the way.

The fourth pour is always an experiment, and your table votes on whether it earns a full batch. Past winners include the Smoked Honey Porter and last spring's Rhubarb Saison. Losers are remembered fondly and never spoken of again.

The flight board

1. I

   Golden Lager, fresh off the tank. The baseline — crisp, bright, and brewed to calibrate your palate.

2. II

   Meadow Blond, cellar edition. Aged six extra weeks on oak chips for vanilla and roundness.

3. III

   Copperline Strong Ale. Toffee, dark fruit, and 7.1% of pure barrel-room warmth.

4. IV

   The experiment. Taste it, vote on it, name it if it wins. Democracy has never been this delicious.
